Week 3 weigh in.

I got weighed this morning, and I’ve lost another three and a half pounds.  I’ve lost 13 and a half pounds in 3 weeks.  I’m really happy with my results and how my weight loss is going right now.  I was unsurpeised about losing weight this week because I walked 20 miles (32.18KM’s) in five days.  My legs were so sore the start of this week that I didn’t really do much walking.

I’ve been trying to eat as healthily as possible and although I’m still get cravings for junk food, I’m ignoring it as much as possible.  I still have crisps and things like that, but I don’t snack much between meals and if I do I try to eat fruit.  At the moment because its my period, I am having really bad cravings but I’m ignoring them, as much as I can. If I give in and buy some chocolate, its not going to be the end of the world.  All I have to do is point it and I can have it.  I’m not saying I’m never going to have pizza or burger king or eat chocolate or have a cake again, but I just don’t want to go back to how it was before.

My diet was terrible and I ate junk food constantly.  I rarely ate more than one meal a day, no fruit and veg and I just ate everything that was unhealthy, fattening and totally delicious.

Recently, since being back at weight watchers, I’ve been eating three meals a day.  I drink at least 2 ltrs of water a day, eat tons of ruit and veg and I’m working on exercise.  At the moment, the weather isn’t conducive to walking.  Its freezing cold (between -1 and -7 during the day at the minute) and although most of scotland is under a heavy layer of snow, for the minute, where I live doesn’t have any.  Yet.  So, weather permitting I want to go for a walk of 3-5 miles, three times a week.
